# Gittelson Jewelers Supports Gilda’s Club Minnetonka

Being a small local business in downtown Minneapolis, we care about our community and the people that we serve. This is why Gittelson Jewelers has partnered up with Gilda's Club Twin Cities in order to support this non-profit organization who makes such an impact in our Twin Cities community. Gildas Club Minnetonka honorably stands by families and individuals struggling through the world of cancer. Cancer affects so many more people than the person afflicted by the disease, and Gilda's in a place where family members can find help and support during this difficult time. When we heard about Gilda's goals and the way they help local Twin Cities residents everyday- we had to jump in and help.

Gittelson Jewelers is supporting Gilda's Club the best way we know how - by donating a beautiful piece of jewelry for their live auction and raffle Monday, August 10th at [Rush Creek Golf Course](http://www.rushcreek.com). The full day event begins with an afternoon out on the golf course and concludes with a beautiful dinner and reception in the Rush Creek Reception Hall. All the proceeds from this event go towards supporting family members who have been affected by cancer and helping them with anything they need during this difficult time. The freshwater cultured pearl strand will go to one lucky bidder or raffle winner on the day of the event.

We want everyone to be aware of Gilda's inspiring work and intention behind their organization. Gilda’s Club Twin Cities is a warm and welcoming place where everyone – men, women, teens, and children, including their families and friends affected by cancer can go for social and emotional support. Activities include networking and support groups, workshops, education and social opportunities. All services are provided free of charge. Located in Minnetonka, off of highway 394 and Hopkins Crossroads, GCTC helps ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
