# Real Wedding Blogs: Alex & Catherine

It all started when Alex strolled into Gittelson Jewelers on a cold November afternoon. He was open and honest about the fact that he had met the woman of his dreams and wanted to buy the most beautiful ring to propose with.

After some discussion into personal interests, we found him a classic and beautiful three-stone ring that the mystery woman had requested specifically. The mystery girl (or so she was to us at the time) is named Catherine and based on Alex's grin from ear-to-ear that day she is definitely the one for him.

Making jewelry is so personal ...  oftentimes we hear so much about the woman 'behind the ring' before we actually meet her. It is common for the man to come to our store, pick out a ring he feels is perfect for her and propose. Only later do we, as jewelers, get to meet this mystery woman. It's only normal that we imagine details about what she looks like, her personality and such, based on what the man tells us. Much can be deciphered by the type of ring he chooses for her.

At Gittelson Jewelers we carry so many unique styles of diamond engagement rings. We always say that there is a ring for every woman in the world in our store. To answer the ultimate question, Alex DID pick the perfect ring for Catherine that day.

Post-engagement we finally get to meet the 'mystery woman'.

She whirled into the store a big ball of happy energy, she LOVES the ring, it's PERFECT … she was already picking out matching wedding bands - pointing them out to Alex in a fervor - insisting on the size and the eternity band.

We loved it - her personality was so bubbly and fun it was infectious.

She told us all about how he proposed, down to every last detail, all the while staring at Alex like he was the only person in the room. At the end of the day, that's why we do what we do. At Gittelson Jewelers, we love to make people happy and be a part of their special day!

Alex and Catherine's wedding day photos are a testament to their love and relationship. Of course they are perfectly romantic <3 just like them.
